Only Fools Don't Judge

This is a great illustration of judgment and discernment. How many times have you heard; don’t judge others? Folks, Gods word says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 (NKJV)21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.We as Christians must make sound judgement on all things by juxtaposing all situations to Gods Word and by utilizing God’s gift of discernment. However, It IS NOT the Christians place to make a judgement on where someone may spend eternity. There is only one righteous judge and His name is Jesus! Be careful about how you speak and what you say about others and don’t play the part of a hypocrite. Jesus addresses this in Matthew 7:1-3 (NKJV) 7 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? What do we do as Christians as it pertains to judging others? Judge according to the discernment God has given you and by His Word but don’t be rash to speak out about others before you check yourself and don’t play the part of a hypocrite.
