Proverbs 10:19 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.
The above Proverb I think was written for me. How many times I should have kept my mouth shut? Sometimes having the "gift" of speaking your mind isn't a good thing; as clearly stated in scripture.
Jesus Said: Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Words are very powerful. Not just in the natural but the spiritual. Too many of us are flippant with our words and unaware of the unintended consequences they can produce. I highly recommend a more in depth study found in Derek Prince's book "Does Your Tongue Need Healing". God Bless!
