"Father dear, help us to do your perfect will in our lives; enlarge our understanding and give us strength to overcome the obstacles and situations in our lives that we deal with every day. Develop in us the gifts of patience and mercy, so necessary in the world today. Saturate us with your Holy Spirit, who gives us wisdom and leads us into all truth and your perfect will for our lives. Increase in us the spirit of self control and a sound mind, so that we are able to say no to temptation, and to every high thought or imagination that is not sanctified in you, and bring it to the obedience of Christ, our LORD.
